At Abiding Life Fellowship, we believe that children aren’t just the future of our church—they are a vital part of our family right now. Our mission is to create a space where every child feels safe, loved, and connected to the heart of God.
Our Heart: To Abide
Our name comes from the powerful invitation Jesus gives us in John 15:5:
“I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain (abide) in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.”
We want to teach our children from the very beginning that life works best when we stay connected to Jesus. Our ministry isn’t just about learning stories; it’s about learning how to abide—to live every day tucked into the love and strength of the Savior.
Why Children’s Ministry Matters
The childhood years are the “rich soil” of a person’s life. We believe that investing in children’s ministry is one of the most important things a church can do because:
- Identity Starts Here: Before the world tells them who they should be, we want them to know who God says they are: His beloved, chosen, and gifted children.
- A Simple Faith: Jesus often told adults to be more like children. We value the pure, honest way kids trust God, and we want to protect and nurture that wonder.
- Partnership with Parents: We know that you are the primary spiritual leaders in your home. Our ministry exists to cheer you on and provide a community that reinforces the biblical truths you are teaching every day.
As we are reminded in Psalm 1:3, a person who abides in God’s Word is “like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither.” We are here to help your children plant their roots by those living waters.
We are so glad you’ve joined us. We can’t wait to see the “much fruit” God is going to produce in the lives of these little ones!
